Data Notes and HEOA Compliance
- HEOA Compliance: This report fulfills requirements under the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) Section 488(g) which amended HEA Section 485(a)(1) (20 U.S.C. 1092(a)(1)). Institutions must disclose completion/graduation rates and transfer-out rates for the general student body, disaggregated by sex, major racial/ethnic subgroups, and Federal Pell Grant recipients.
- 1Total Cohort: Total number of first-time, full-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students who entered the institution in Fall 2021.
- 2Graduation Rate: Percentage of the cohort who completed their program within 150% of normal time (3 years for 2-year programs, measured through August 31, 2024).
- 3Transfer-Out Rate: Percentage of non-completers who transferred to another institution within 3 years. Students are considered transfers if they enrolled at another institution without completing a program at the reporting institution.
- 4Still Enrolled Rate: Percentage of students from the original cohort who are still enrolled at the institution after 3 years but have not yet completed their program.
- Financial Aid Categories:
- Pell Recipients: Students who received a Federal Pell Grant at any point during their enrollment
- Subsidized Stafford Loan Recipients: Students who received a subsidized Direct Loan but not a Pell Grant
- Neither Pell nor Stafford Recipients: Students who received neither a Pell Grant nor a subsidized Direct Loan
- Data Privacy: An asterisk (*) indicates that the cohort size is 5 or fewer students. These values are masked to protect student privacy in accordance with FERPA regulations.
- Reporting Standards: All data is reported according to IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) definitions and methodology as required for federal compliance.
- Cohort Exclusions: The cohort excludes students who left for military service, foreign aid service, deceased students, and students with permanent disabilities, in accordance with IPEDS reporting guidelines.
